About Us...

Hey there! My name is Erin, I am stay at home mom to my two great kids and a wife to my very best friend. This blog is about my family trying to become more self sufficient. We live in a subdivision in a suburb of Flint MI, I guess that makes us suburban homesteaders ;) We don't have a huge yard and since we live in a city we find ourselves with many restrictions but we would love to have you follow us to see what kind of mischief we can get up to here!
